Unless it says so in your tenancy agreement or via the lettings agent, I don't think so. If you have any sort of private contents insurance you will have to notify your insurer, however. UNLOCK has details of insurers who can help on the main website: www.unlock.org.uk/xoffenders.aspx?sid=258
