Dear all

I'm proud to announce that UNLOCK Chief Executive Bobby Cummines has been awarded an OBE in New Year's Honours List for services to reformed offenders ind.pn/f4iNsY.

As many of you know, Bobby previously spent 13 years in prison for his involvement in organised crime.

If there are 8 million people on the Government's Offender Index, does the law-abiding majority really exist?

This is tremendous news. It gives hope to all of us who are rehabilitated that society will accept us fully back into society. Congratulations to Bobby. Let us hope that 2011 will bring the changes that allows us all to be rehabilitated, so that we can become useful members of society.

Hi ...

Been meaning to post this for a couple of days ...

Congrats to Bobby on the OBE - also on the very brief appearance on BBC 10 o'clock news this week about prisoner voting.

But at least there's more proof that UNLOCK is now being seen as a newsworthy contributor to ex-offender rehabilitation.

Good on you Bobby ... best to all ....
