Evening. Tonight i was talking to my (ex?)wife while seeing my son. Was talking about the investigation time. I was first told give or take 12 months (by rhe police and my solicitor) Police then told me 4 months just for my laptop to be checked. She was told by the officers searching the house, upto 2 years! So im about a month from the knock and i dont know what to make of the timeframe now, my son could potentially be old enough to come see me when he wants to by the time my conviction would be spent.
Anyone with any current (post covid) investigation time frames from experience?
Thank again in advance.

I believe i have read your story above before about the device's. Thats one thing that sticks in my mind amongst a lot of other things that could happen. I was told to say no comment at first interview as it is their job to prove anything and it wont go against me later if i do plead guilty (which tbh i dont see how i couldnt) Solicitor said they are going to check your decices either way, so no comment now as you could say something very innocent but it could be twisted to be brought up again. Anyway i guess ill wait and see Cheers
