Are you someone with lived experience of the criminal justice system? Want to use your voice to create real change while being fairly compensated for your time?
Unlock, the UK's leading charity supporting people with criminal records, is recruiting for our new Insight Panel - closely linked to our Better Advice for All work, the Panel is not just a token - it's a vehicle for change, led by, and seeking to make positive changes for, those with a lived experience of the criminal justice system. We're particularly keen to hear from people from marginalised communities, including those who are:
- From ethnically marginalised backgrounds
- Neurodivergent
- Have English as a second language
- Experience mental health challenges
- Have literacy support needs
What you'll do:
- Shape how Unlock delivers advice and support services
- Review website content to make it more accessible
- Share insights on what works (and what doesn't) when seeking help
- Co-design new approaches with fellow panel members
