Hi All
We've recently been contacted by a Researcher at the University of Cambridge studying how custodial environments and their design affect rehabilitative outcomes. If anyone from the forum with a lived experience of the justice system has a few minutes to spare to contribute to his anonymous survey, that would be great. Please see the details below:
My name is Rudy Logue, I am a master student on the Architecture course at the University of Cambridge. I am researching how spatial environments affect rehabilitation and reintegration for people with lived experience of the justice system. The aim of this survey is to inform how spaces that are focused on actual rehabilitation can be designed, instead of the typical correctional facilities. This survey is anonymous and only focuses on spatial experience (light, privacy, shared spaces, work areas, outdoor space). It does not ask about offences or legal history. Details of the survey:
- Open to adults (18+) with lived experience of incarceration and the justice system
- Takes approximately 10-15 minutes
- Completely anonymous
- Participation is voluntary
- You may skip any question or stop at any time
Responses will be used for academic research only and no individual will be identifiable. For any questions or further details, please contact:
