This could have been written by lots of us on the forum. Not sure why he is posting it on substack, but fair play to him for putting his head above the parapet.

A interesting twist on the whole rehabilitation and forgiveness debate this week. Kemi Badenoch speaking about giving a former neo nazi with a string of convictions a second chance, insisting he has been rehabilitated. Not what I expected from the Conservatives, especially when they do not seem to want to give second chances to anyone currently in prison. If a neo nazi can be forgiven, then why not an SO?

A neo Nazi who claims to have been rehabilitated - whatever that means - is politically more acceptable in the UK than anyone with a conviction for a sexual offence involving a child, no matter how long ago. Nazis themselves are becoming politically acceptable - such as Kanye West.
