Does this deserve credit to Mr Farage?

Extract below...

The trouble flared over the election of Portsmouth South chairman Paul Lovegrove on January 12.

He has a criminal record with convictions for violent crimes – and he has served two prison sentences.

But Ukip leader Nigel Farage said he is standing by Mr Lovegrove, whose last prison sentence was in 2005.

Mr Farage said: ‘We believe that people deserve a second chance in life.

‘Mr Lovegrove may have fallen off the rails earlier in his life but he is now totally reformed and we are standing by him 100 per cent. We knew about his past.

‘With any political party, having people from all walks of life is a bonus.

‘After all you can’t have every party full of Oxbridge graduates.’

Interesting post he sounds like the next chad evans though I am unsure if he can be successful since its just the way how UK operate. Its more of a culture of hate or fear people tend to rather do that then understand or give a second chance, good luck to him especially if the party is standing behind him though.

Thats fine if he actually means it or is it just another way of getting the average folk to vote for UKIP

If a politician wanted to he/she do exactly that and say he will reform and update the ROA law and DBS system that is one way to get 10 mill extra votes lol

I don't think it will be extra votes from people with no conviction to there name. Anyway the last reform of the ROA last year was a joke IoI certain offenders we can not speak about on here.

We all accept our crimes but should we be punished more for it?
