Does the conviction disappear from a basic dbs automatically or is this a manual process undertaken by ACRO?
For example if someone's conviction was spent at 12 months, would the basic dbs show nothing at 12 months + 1 day?

I believe in 2014 certain police cautions were filtered out although the police still may disclose the caution to a potential employer regarding it if they feel the caution relevant, if anyone knows whether or not these cautions that have now been filtere
