My daughter, who has special needs, has reached 16 and social services want to tell her about me 'to keep her safe'. As if telling a child her father is a monster is likely to improve her well being.Despite a court ruling granting me unsupervised access they have never allowed it. My question is, are there any resources or guidelines on when or how to tell a child about such a conviction? I am awaare of Lucy Faithfull but it is literally impossible to get through. Anyone got any ideas? I dont trust social services to do this in an appropriate or fair way.

RE: Telling a child about a conviction

+x
HarryT - 9 Mar 23 11:22 AM

I was convicted of possessing 30 images eight years ago.
