PPU Photos Taken

Are the photos that taken on a visit by a ppu officer used incase someone goes on the run.

I had one taken but it was because they decided the one on file was not up to date; I mentioned that was the issue with getting older but didn't get a smile.

I would expect their work phones to have all sorts of security installed as standard before it ever reaches them. Unless it was stolen to order, I doubt anyone who got hold of it would bother to try getting into it. They'd be more interested in wiping it and selling it on.

What are they taking photos of?
I caught my ppu taking a photo of my car while outside. I rang her and asked why.
She gave me some BS about "checking" my car reg number and said she would delete the photo.
I would hope she did but I have no way of checking. But again, my force is far from exemplary.

Hi
They will be placed on your file and I would say if you went on the "run" then everything on your file would be used! why else would they collect so much data on you.

P.S. Personally I would never suggest to any one that going on the run is a viable or positive action.
