Just had visit from my offender manager who said they will be introducing this system. Sounds like a Lie detector, but said it wasn't. It won't be mandatory. Has anyone been exposed to this at all?

Having a look at them it appears it's some kind of voice analytics system to give you insight into risk. Seems to be used by some banking companies for fraud checks.

I worked at a company that had a voice analytics system in place for the call centre (might actually be Clearspeed) I can say it's.... Not great. Given they said it isn't mandatory (get that in writing!) I honestly wouldn't entertain it if it were me.

I absolutely agree with khafka. They are like a lie detector but even less accurate and reliable, so don't even think about agreeing to it. Well, think about it before you refuse.

Given my experience were i was told they didn't feel a need to visit me again and then said if I undergo a lie detector test; I assume various areas are looking into using these systems more.

I rejected on the grounds of the infamous Jeremy Kyle case showing legally they are not accurate / abused. Also when I was arrested I offered to undergo one but they refused. Time will tell what happens.

Can't remember if it was AB2014 said there was a precedence that not taking one will NOT affect any other actions you take ie discharging a SOR requirement.

Be honest and fair with the authorities but believe in your rights.

Society suggests I must let go of all my expectations but I disagree, as whilst I have a voice, I have hope.
