Upwork, People Per Hour those kinds of sites can give you access to people who just need stuff doing (no background checks etc).
Keep an eye out for clients who use the site quite a lot because that could mean repeat custom, from which you can build up a trusted relationship. Or if not, it's at least a nice testimonial on your profile.
There's been an increase in this because of home working etc That has good points and bad points which I won't bore you with now.
It depends on your skills really, I have lots of ideas but don't have the skills to pull many of them off haha.
