Hi, sorry wasn't sure where to post this:
I have a S.O for images. I'm have/am allowed a phone that can store history for 12 months. Same for other devices.
I wondered if an SD card that fits in the phone would be allowed/within the rules?

Depends on whether or not your SHPO mentions external storage devices. If you are not permitted to own an external storage device of any kind, then you probably will not be permitted to use SD cards. Check with your PPU.
