1982 marriage broke down became homeless got into trouble was charged with x3 counts of theft  but stole same time/day was given 240hrs community service and £600 compensation 1 count of failure to surrender for bail at the time I was homeless and father died same day was supposed to attend police stn,was given absolute discharge ,never been in trouble before or after have been working for nhs for over 20yrs they are aware of conviction via enhanced dbs.now wanting to get different job but still have this hanging over me ,so ashamed of what I did but am still paying price even haven't told my partner of 15 yrs about it ,this is mentally effecting me HELP!!!
