Hi

My husband is trying to get work as a freelancer and to do that he needs PI insurance. He’s really struggling to get any at the moment and all the brokers he’s spoken to says it’s a tough market anyway but really bad at the moment so he hasn’t managed to get any yet.
He’s used the list on here but a fair bit of that is out of date. He can’t accept a full time position cos of the whole disclosure thing, and now he can’t go self employed cos of the insurance needed so potentially has to walk away from another job.

Has anyone gotten any PI insurance recently or can offer any advice for him please?

Thanks
