I'm guessing I'm being paranoid, but would there be any worry about having an S.O discovered if I apply for the government startup loan?

Thanks

I doubt they will even ask but if they do all you have to be is honest about the conviction or elect not to fill the form in.

In my experience when you are involved in your own business then the only people who are concerned are insurers and landlords. No one else ever asks about convictions.

Hi
Not having seen the "application" form and if they do background checks, I would say if you have a strong buisness case go for it. They are not going to make your offence public as that would leave them open to data protection actions against them.

Hope it helps

Thanks
