I put off and felt sick calling my insurance company (Admiral) about my conviction. I procrastinated, worried, dilly-dallied. I rang them this morning and paced up n down and  ....

... they updated my quote as "Non motoring conviction" and nothing changed on the price. As ever, the self imposed worry did not equal the actual experience! I am still shaking but I am insured.

There is help and common sense out there even if it seems rare. Keep the faith.

(context: been with them 2 years for car insurance; had 1 major claim )

Good luck everyone

PS - I also tried Adrian Flux and they were 6.5 times higher on the premium.

PPS - Insurance is so very personalised nowadays that my experience is most likely not yours but I share to give hope to others

I'm with Admiral since conviction year ago. Bit more pricy, but no quibble. This years premium some £100's less as well!
