Do you believe that everyone deserves access to good advice and support, regardless of their past?

We're looking for a Community Network Coordinator to help grow a network of grassroots organisations supporting people with criminal records. This is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships, amplify lived experience, coordinate training, and help improve access to advice across England and Wales.

If you're passionate about community development, collaboration and creating lasting change, we'd love to hear from you.

We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of the criminal justice system.

Further details of the role can be found at https://unlock.org.uk/community-network-coordinator/

Debbie,

This sounds a very interesting role and with my varied career which specialised in "co-ordinating and planning" would be interested but I'm 70 next month and very active, I think that may be a negative.

Good luck in your search and thank you for your support over the years

Society suggests I must let go of all my expectations but I disagree, as whilst I have a voice, I have hope.

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope is for tomorrow else what is left if you remove a mans hope.

Update:

Unlock is also now recruiting for a Communications Officer, to help us promote our services, campaigns and work by producing clear, accessible and engaging content for our website, social media channels and newsletters.

This is an exciting opportunity to:

  • Share powerful stories from people with lived experience, highlighting the barriers faced by people with criminal records.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, supporters and partners, contributing to the charity’s wider influencing and engagement work.
  • Shape our key messages and take responsibility for creating and managing our content across all media.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the power of lived experience stories, and is committed to creating positive change for people with criminal records.

We particularly welcome applications from people with a lived experience of the criminal justice system.
