+xSo I've been wondering about self employment in a service based job. I have an S.O for images. I wondered about things like: Gardening. Renting out various in demand equipment - Tools, etc Litter clearance. Coffee selling in nice street areas. Scrap metal (Don't drive - but have a large pull along wagon) Growing plants/veg to sell. Fixing things. I'm just throwing ideas out there, realize there are various factors/costs etc and not sure if they are viable? If anyone has any info on these or any better ideas for self employment/service based jobs I'd love to know. Thanks James Hi It is good to see positivity. One consideration to think about, so you can prepare your responses or methods of handling certain scenarios is "working in a persons home". I understand the "non-contact" argument, but not everyone is able to do that as all they see is "SO". Also it is becoming more common for "businesses" to advertise they have been "assessed" or whatever by "authorities". Discuss it with your Probation officer / Offender manager as they must have experience of others considering the same options. In the end build your "business plan" including these considerations and go for it. Good luck in the most positive of meanings.
Society suggests I must let go of all my expectations but I disagree, as whilst I have a voice, I have hope.
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope is for tomorrow else what is left if you remove a mans hope. ------------------------------
